Wrists
The wrist can be affected with occupations involving
constant grip work, or repetitive actions of the
fingers of the hand. It is worth nothing that pain
can be referred down the arms to the hands via the
neck, and thoracic spine (the part of your back
between the shoulder blades). Ergonomic assessment
is important, and workstation modifications may
be required. Treatment, following assessment, could
consist of rest, compression, icing, and assessment
of the elbow. |
