Shoulders
In a society where most of what we do involves outstretched
arms (typing, computing, driving, lifting, pushing,
cleaning, cooking..etc), we are at risk of overworking
weaker muscles, and altering our posture which can
affect the rest of the body. The rotator cuff and
the capsule can be affected by incorrect training/sports
technique or traumatic injury. Treatment can consist
of managing acute symptoms, strengthening the rotator
cuff, postural correction, and training modification. |
