Knees
Although the knee seems to be a simple hinge joint,
it can be prone to various conditions. Pain in the
knees can result from incorrect muscle tension in
the muscles across the hip joint, the muscle in
the thigh, as well as muscle from the lower leg.
The knee can also be prone to swelling resulting
from acute injury or repetitive kneeling. Treatment
will vary following a thorough postural assessment
and tests to check the ligaments (e.g. anterior
cruciate ligament). |
