Hips
Arthritis can affect the hip joints quite frequently
as years advance. Nevertheless it has been found
that mobilising, stretching and strengthening the
muscles around the hip can improve symptoms, and
help rehabilitation after a hip replacement. There
are times where a non-arthritic clicking or snapping
occurs in those who require a lot of movement at
the hip joint, such as dancers and martial artists.
This may require treatment, and modifying stretching
techniques may be able to reduce the frequency of
these 'clicks' and improve symptoms. |
